3D Print Cost Calculator
Drop in a G-code or 3MF file and get the real cost of a print: material, electricity, printer wear, labor, marketplace fees and a suggested price. Free, and everything happens in your browser. Files never leave your device.
Or skip this and enter weight and time manually below.

Suggested price: 0.00
How the cost is worked out
Material = weight × price per kg, plus a waste allowance. Electricity = average power × hours × tariff. Wear = printer price divided by its lifetime hours, plus maintenance per hour. Labor = your time × your rate. The suggested price is set so that after marketplace fees you keep your target margin of the selling price.
Weight and time are read from the slicer's own metadata (Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer 3MF and G-code, PrusaSlicer, Cura). Multiple filaments are summed. If a file has no weight, it is estimated from filament length and the result says so.
FAQ
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read by JavaScript in your browser and never sent over the network. There is no backend and no tracking.
Which files work?
G-code from PrusaSlicer (including binary .bgcode), OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio and Cura, sliced .3mf files from Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer, and UltiMaker .ufp packages. If yours is not recognised, enter weight and time by hand.
What should I put for printer power?
Average draw while printing, not the power supply rating. Manufacturer measurements for PLA: about 80 W for Prusa MK-series and Bambu A1 mini, 95 to 110 W for Bambu A1, P1P, P1S and X1C, and about 200 W for Bambu H2D and P2S. ABS and PC usually draw 1.3 to 2 times as much. A plug-in energy meter gives the true number for your printer.
Where are my settings stored?
In your browser's localStorage on this device. Use the reset button to clear them.
Is it free?
Yes, and open source under the MIT licence.
